Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for their esteemed client, an established MNC in Bayan Lepas. The successful candidate will prepare designs and specifications for automation panels, coordinate with contractors, and provide technical support during site installation. Ideal candidates should possess a diploma or degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, with essential knowledge of control systems and design software.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of control system automation design (hardware/software) is essential.
• Experience in motor control and PLC-based systems is preferred.
• Hands-on experience in wiring assembly and panel installation is advantageous.

Job description

Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Electrical Design Engineer:

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare schematic designs, site installation layouts, calculations, technical reports, and specifications for automation equipment panels.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to resolve project-related electrical and automation design issues.
• Generate Bills of Materials (BOM) and Request for Quotation (RFQ) documents.
  
• Coordinate with contractors for automation panel fabrication.
• Prepare and support documentation for Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) of automation equipment panels.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure equipment acceptance prior to delivery to site.
• Provide technical support during site installation.
• Maintain and update circuit diagrams, control devices, and equipment installation layouts.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• Knowledge of control system automation design (both hardware and software) is essential.
• Experience in motor control, PLC-based control systems, and electrical hardware/software design will be an advantage.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply engineering principles to practical challenges.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and design software such as AutoCAD or EPLAN Electric P8.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Hands-on experience in wiring assembly and panel installation is advantageous.

Additional Information:

• Salary: Up to MYR 6,000 + VB (1 - 2 Months)
• Working Location:Bayan Lepas
• Working Hours: 5 Days Work, Monday - Friday, 9am to 6pm
