• 3-5 years working experience with MCC and PLC panel drawings.
• Fluent in English & Bahasa Malaysia.
• Team player and able to work independently.

Job description

Pro Cahaya Industries Sdn Bhd is looking for skilled Design Engineer to support engineers through a variety of tasks including routine layout, proposal drawings, diagram and sketches thorough Computer Aided Design (CAD) computer System & EPLAN.

As we constantly have projects & system integrations lined up, we want you to join our team as a Design Engineer in Selangor.

What Does Our Team Do?

• As a senior of the Design team; knowledge transfer of design and drafting skills to junior engineers.
• Responsible for all design drawing operation consisting of instrumentation hock-up drawing, P & ID’s drawing, electrical system drawing, MCC & PLC panels drawings, SLD and three-line diagrams, equipment loop diagrams, etc.
• To understand the drawing specifications based on equations, calculations and written instructions and able to prepare drawing based on sketches and existing drawing provided by engineer.
• Maintain CAD models and EPLAN, drawings and associated files in the data management system per customer standard.
• Creates CAD drawings for engineering projects including design tender drawing, shop drawing for consultant approval, construction drawing, coordination drawing, as-built drawing and etc.
• Understand project scope of supply and perform panel design following customer requirement.
• Proactive to update job progress to project engineer or manager.
• Able to design modification/changes as per customer requirement.
• Participate in customer design review when require.
• Involve in panel testing.

Do You Have What It Takes?

• Tertiary education in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or relevant discipline.
• At least 3-5 years working experience with MCC and PLC panel drawings.
• Fluent in English & Bahasa Malaysia. Other languages are an added advantage.
• Excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
• A team player and at the same time able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
