• 3-5 years of experience with MCC and PLC panel drawings.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; other languages is an advantage.

Job description

Pro Cahaya Industries Sdn Bhd is looking for skilled Design Engineer to support engineers through a variety of tasks including routine layout, proposal drawings, diagrams, and sketches using Computer Aided Design (CAD) systems and EPLAN.

As we constantly have projects and system integrations lined up, we want you to join our team as a Design Engineer in Selangor.

What Does Our Team Do?

• As a senior member of the Design team, transfer knowledge of design and drafting skills to junior engineers.
• Responsible for all design drawing operations including instrumentation hookup drawings, P&ID drawings, electrical system drawings, MCC & PLC panel drawings, SLDs, three-line diagrams, equipment loop diagrams, etc.
• Understand drawing specifications based on equations, calculations, and written instructions; prepare drawings based on sketches and existing drawings provided by engineers.
• Maintain CAD models and EPLAN drawings and associated files in the data management system according to customer standards.
• Create CAD drawings for engineering projects, including tender drawings, shop drawings for consultant approval, construction drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Understand project scope of supply and perform panel design following customer requirements.
• Proactively update job progress to project engineers or managers.
• Design modifications/changes as per customer requirements.
• Participate in customer design reviews when required.
• Involve in panel testing.

Do You Have What It Takes?

• Tertiary education in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or a relevant discipline.
• At least 3-5 years of experience with MCC and PLC panel drawings.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
• Excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
• A team player capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
