Job Title: Electrical Consulting Engineer

Location: Petaling Jaya (Project sites across Klang Valley)
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Tenure: Permanent
Parking: Carpark provided (with car elevator)

Job Responsibilities:

Electrical & ELV System Design

Design Electrical and ELV services, including Earthing, Lightning Protection, and Security Systems, in compliance with UBBL and relevant local/international standards.

Prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical works, ensuring alignment with project budgets.

Authority Liaison

Coordinate with statutory authorities for approvals and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Project Coordination & Meetings

Attend coordination meetings (e.g., CCM, TCM).

Collaborate with architects, civil & structural consultants, and stakeholders to ensure proper integration of electrical systems.

Handle the full tendering process, including preparing tender documentation, design drawings, technical reports, and attending tender interviews.

Construction Phase Support

Prepare/review construction drawings.

Check and approve shop drawings and technical submissions.

Attend site meetings, resolve technical issues, witness testing & commissioning, and coordinate with authorities for inspections.

Progress Claims & Final Account

Verify contractor progress claims.

Ensure final account closure and successful, defect-free project handover.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Minimum 3–4 years of experience in a consulting engineering firm.

Strong knowledge in:

Electrical & ELV Systems

Earthing & Lightning Protection

Security Systems

Experience in attending CCM & TCM meetings.

Solid understanding of electrical design standards, authority submission processes, and site coordination.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin is an added advantage.

Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
