Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide support during relevant governmental department inspections.
• Support Safety and Health Committee activities, conduct audits, and maintain records to ensure compliance with safety and health legislation.
• Conduct internal safety and health audits and follow up on corrective actions.
• Assist the EHS team in maintaining an active Emergency Response Team (ERT) and coordinate training for ERT members.
• Conduct machine/equipment buy-offs for all new machinery or equipment in the factory.
• Deliver EHS training and briefings to employees.
• Ensure all relevant permits for contractors are enforced and that contractors comply with EHS requirements, implementing control measures to prevent accidents.
• Assist in coordinating EHS monitoring activities and follow up on required actions.

Education & Experience

• A diploma in environmental, health and safety, engineering, science, or equivalent, with at least 1 year of relevant experience in environment, health, and safety.

Skills

• Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with team members.

Working Conditions

• This role is 100% onsite.
