Job summary

Linergy Power Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced EHS professional to monitor and enforce environmental protection measures across construction and operations in Malaysia. The role requires liaising with DOE and DOSH, coordinating with project teams, and implementing the Environmental Management System to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

You will conduct inspections, support incident investigations, prepare performance reports, and drive sustainability across the organization,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EHS or related disciplines.
• SHO qualification highly preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of EHS-related work experience.
• Experience in lithium battery industry safety management or new plant construction preferred.
• Keen hazard identification and strong execution abilities; excellent team management.
• Familiar with EHS regulations and requirements.
• Excellent communication and coordination; strong professional negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce environmental protection measures across construction and operations.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian environmental laws and liaise with DOE and DOSH.
• Coordinate with project teams and authorities to implement the Environmental Management System.
• Conduct inspections, investigations, and prepare performance reports; implement corrective actions.
• Promote environmental awareness and sustainability across LINERGY.
• Support Integrated Management System audits including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Organize environmental awareness programmes and training for staff.
• Serve as liaison with DOE; maintain EMT and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Analyze environmental data and maintain audit-ready records.
• Monitor and improve EHS control measures across all operations.
• Drive a 'Go Green' culture and continuous EHS improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
