Job summary

Cleanroom Industries Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a qualified EHS professional to oversee safety, health and environmental compliance on site in Gelang Patah, Johor.

The role requires evaluating hazards, conducting audits, and coordinating with authorities to ensure safe project execution. Responsibilities include incident investigations, permit applications, and ensuring equipment and site practices meet DOSH, CIDB and FMA standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum Yellow Book/Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) certification.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in an engineering/architectural and construction process.
• Proficient in standard requirements of DOSH, FMA and CIDB.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Good technical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with statutory safety, health and environmental laws and by-laws and company EHS regulations and procedures.
• Evaluate and analyse hazardous conditions and recommend corrective and preventive actions to top management.
• Conduct periodic safety meetings and audits to ensure EHS compliance.
• Register and maintain company machinery, equipment and tools in good working condition.
• Investigate accidents, near-misses and other incidents.
• Liaise with Local Authorities (DOSH, DOE, CIDB, BOMBA etc.) on ESH matters.
• Monitor installation work quality at site.
• Prepare Site Incident Prevention Plan and safety/health plans with follow-up actions for project team.
• Apply for necessary health and safety permits for construction on site.
• Assist Project Manager/Project Executive in implementing company safety policies.
