Job summary

Quaker Houghton, a global leader in industrial process fluids and engineering, seeks a Safety & Health Officer for the Dipsol Selangor site. You will lead occupational safety programs, ensure compliance with Malaysian OSHA and DOSH/JKKP, and advise management on risk control and legal obligations.

Qualifications

• Registered DOSH/JKKP Safety & Health Officer with a valid Green Book.
• Degree in safety & health or related field with relevant background.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian OSHA 1994 and related laws.
• ISO 45001/ISO 14001 internal auditor certification preferred.
• First Aid / ERT certifications are advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years EHS experience in industrial sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety programs and drive compliance with best practices.
• Liaise with regulators, perform audits and inspections.
• Conduct HIRARC studies and implement risk controls.
• Investigate accidents, root causes and corrective actions.
• Coordinate training, toolbox talks and safety campaigns.
• Develop emergency plans and coordinate drills.
• Monitor contractor safety and track corrective actions.
