· Possess a minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Health, or related disciplines.

· Registered Safety Officer (Green Book) Certification from DOSH.

· Over 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing.

· Experience liaising with authorities such as Bomba and DOSH.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledgeable about legal requirements, environmental, safety, and health practices.

· Strong understanding of Malaysian OSH regulations, standards, and codes of practice.

· Professional experience in fire facility management.

· Ability to work independently and in a team, with quick decision-making skills.

· Skilled in root cause analysis and problem-solving tools.

· Capable of coaching, mentoring, and facilitating EHS principles among staff.

· Experience in incident reporting and investigation.

· Responsible for developing safety policies and monitoring health and safety procedures.

Job Scope:
  • Maintain and manage industrial accident statistics.
  • Ensure safety and health compliance with laws.
  • Set objectives for HSE initiatives and establish performance standards.
  • Oversee safety activities and training programs.
  • Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage safety measures for hazardous equipment.
  • Prepare annual DOSH and Bomba data, handle DOE inspections.
  • Identify fire risks and establish suppression plans.
  • Manage hazardous material storage and usage.
  • Collaborate with departments on safety and health matters.
  • Inspect safety equipment and identify hazards.
  • Handle emergency responses and develop response measures.
  • Coordinate with government inspectors and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Support environmental initiatives and ISO certification processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
