Bhd., a leading global manufacturing company within the VAT Group, is seeking an experienced and dedicated EHS manager to oversee and manage Environmental, Health, and Safety aspects. Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage fiduciary risks across the company, providing leadership, expertise, and optimizing Occupational Safety within the VAT group.
  • Support plant management teams, as well as service and sales centers, with leadership and EHS expertise.
  • Collaborate at all organizational levels to foster a safety culture.
  • Ensure compliance with Group management systems and country-specific requirements, staying updated with latest regulations and best practices in health and safety.
  • Optimize occupational safety capabilities aligned with standards, processes, guidance, and best practices.
  • Support RBA and site sustainability initiatives.
  • Promote behavioral change through the implementation of performance improvement programs and practices.
  • Identify, plan, and initiate training needs for employees and site managers.
  • Maintain certification as Safety & Health Officer (SHO/Green Book).
  • Serve as DOE Competent Person for scheduled waste management.
  • Bring 5+ years of relevant experience in a global manufacturing environment (preferred).
  • Experience as a health and safety coordinator.
  • Be a team player, self-motivated, goal-oriented, flexible, with the ability to motivate others and maintain consistency and reliability.
  • Possess strong relationship-building, facilitation, and influencing skills to build trust across diverse personal styles.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Have understanding of occupational health and safety regulations and EHS risk evaluations relevant to manufacturing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) in safety management or a related field.
  • Familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 Management Systems and corporate requirements.
  • Knowledge or experience in social standards such as RBA and sustainability topics (preferred).
