Job summary

Beryl’s Chocolate and Confectionery Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks an OSH coordinator responsible for planning and implementing environmental, safety and health measures across the workplace. You will advise management on safety actions, inspect facilities, investigate incidents, and support the safety committee with audits and statistics.

The role requires knowledge of OSHA, DOE, DOSH regulations, and certifications such as SHO or NIOSH.

Qualifications

• Must be Certified OSH Coordinator with MyKKP experience.
• Additional certifications such as SHO or NIOSH are preferred.
• Strong report writing and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement Environment, Occupational Safety and Health measures across workplaces.
• Advise employer/leadership on safety and health actions.
• Inspect workplaces for machinery, equipment, processes and manual labour safety compliance.
• Investigate accidents, near-miss incidents and occupational diseases.
• Assist safety and health committee with inspections and corrective actions.
• Prepare, brief and train employees and contractors on EHS policies.
