Job summary

Silterra Malaysia Sdn Bhd is offering an undergraduate internship in Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) and ESG support. The role provides structured learning opportunities while contributing to documentation, compliance, and audit readiness.

You will assist in organizing EHS records, supporting inspections, preparing training materials, and acting as secretariat for EHS meetings, while gaining exposure to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 frameworks and cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or related field.
• Familiarity with environmental, health and safety principles, legislation and management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• Ability to organize records, prepare reports and maintain compliance logs.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in organizing and filing EHS records (medical surveillance, permits, certificates of fitness) with proper labeling and retention tracking.
• Supporting walkdown inspections by recording observations, photographing evidence, and drafting preliminary reports using standardized templates.
• Helping prepare training materials (slides, handouts, quizzes) and tracking employee participation in awareness programs.
• Acting as secretariat support for EHS Committee meetings, including agenda preparation, minute-taking, and action item tracking.
• Assisting in event logistics for wellness activities, ERP drills, and awareness campaigns.
• Contributing to audit readiness by compiling evidence folders, formatting reports, and updating compliance trackers.
