ABOUT YOUR ROLE

This role will be responsible for developing the annual EHS A3 Plan, further improving EHS Management Systems, ensuring EHS Legal Compliance, analyzing injury patterns, and developing a proactive safety culture towards zero accidents and world-class safety performance.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

EHS Legal Compliance
  • Ensure compliance by sustaining a PDCA approach on current and new legal requirements and company EHS requirements.
  • Work with local EHS authorities.
  • Manage fire protection systems and Emergency Response Processes.
  • Ensure environmental protection and occupational health compliance.
Safety Culture
  • Drive shop floor safety as a value and behavior change with effective initiatives.
  • Engage employees to take responsibility, accountability, and develop capability.
  • Coordinate safety initiatives at ASEAN and AP levels.
  • Set up plant-level annual EHS targets and objectives.
  • Participate in meetings like MDI, communication, site coordination, and inspections, providing EHS recommendations.
  • Guide site management and operators on environment, health, and safety aspects, including Machine Safety, PPE, Emergency Response Plans, etc., and conduct related training and risk assessments.
  • Follow global safety vision and work with all employees to maintain safety culture.
  • Attend government-organized environment, health, and safety meetings and training.
  • Assist and coach site management to foster growth.
Injury Prevention
  • Implement and maintain Injury Prevention Programs at the site as per Regional and Global EHS standards.
  • Establish clear Lagging and Leading Indicators to improve and sustain zero accidents.
  • Manage incident investigations, root cause analysis, and action plan closures.
  • Promote Near Miss Reporting to improve hazard recognition and control.

  • Proficiency in English and Chinese.
