Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Engineer to manage safety, health, environmental, fire protection and emergency response for the site and offices.

The role includes coordinating 6S audits, interpreting regulations, maintaining EHS records, and developing strategies to meet EHS policies and regulatory requirements. You will host external audits and ensure compliance with EHSMS across all activities.

Qualifications

• 3 years related work experience in environment, safety and health.
• Experience coordinating audits with DOE/DOSH/BOMBA or similar bodies.
• Bachelor's Diploma/ Degree/ Master Degree in related field preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and control workplace hazards using industrial safety and risk assessment.
• Conduct safety inspections, provide training, and organize EHS activities regularly.
• Investigate safety and health incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Advise and audit line management to ensure effective EHS implementation.
• Communicate Emergency Response Plan and EHS policies to staff.
• Willing to work at Serendah.
