Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an EHS Coordinator in Penang to support Workplace Safety & Health programs and environmental compliance. You will work with site leadership, operations, facilities, and contractors to promote a strong safety culture and regulatory adherence.

The role involves performing inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations, training support, and coordination of EHS activities across site operations.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in an EHS, safety, facilities, or industrial environment.
• Basic working knowledge of the OSH Act, DOSH requirements, and general EHS practices.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine site inspections (indoor, outdoor, lab, etc.), audits, and site walkthroughs; document findings and track corrective actions.
• Inspect sites for batteries, electronic, and regulated waste; coordinate shipments and submit documentation.
• Support labs with waste management and related needs.
• Assist with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and follow-up actions.
• Assist with risk assessments, JSA, and hazard identification activities.
