Facilitates the educational mission of the department and the affiliated programs by providing administrative and technical support to the Head of Academic, program coordinator, and members in the college.

Responsibilities

Duties of Clinical Instructor include the following:

1. Prepare the orientation pack for all new students and serve as a preceptor in Orientation programs.
2. Assist academic staff in preparing and teaching CST in the simulated ward and during OSCE.
3. Assist and supervise students during their practice of procedures in skills labs and simulated wards.
4. Provide assistance and supervision to students throughout their clinical practice.
5. Prepare clinical rosters for students' clinical postings.
6. Assist in teaching, exam invigilation, and entering clinical marks into the information management system.
7. Assist lecturers in teaching skills procedures in skills labs and simulated wards.
8. Participate in activities organized by the faculty such as faculty meetings, open day, graduation day, and orientation week.
9. Perform any tasks as directed by the Dean when required.

Preferred Requirements

• Candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree or diploma in a related field with a minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Able to work effectively and efficiently as a team member as well as independently.
• Able to communicate effectively and collaborate with management and staff.
• Possess own transport to commute to students’ clinical areas.
