An established industry player in the FMCG sector is seeking a dynamic Key Account Executive to manage and develop key accounts. This role involves building strong client relationships, negotiating favorable trading terms, and analyzing sales data to inform strategic decisions. Lay out a pre-planned promotion proposal via a yearly calendar to achieve overall goals and objectives by chain.
Manage, oversee, and develop key accounts by building strong client relationships and identifying growth opportunities.
Handle trade promotion plans, product listings, and promotional activities.
Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates to superiors.
Liaise with Key Account HQ to follow through on all promotional proposals and ensure product listing for all responsible accounts.
Negotiate diligently for key account trading terms that are favorable to the company, aiming to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
Monitor and track marketing spending and claims, including handling claim disputes and reconciliation to ensure compliance with policies, and optimize marketing budget utilization.
Prepare, analyze, and present business review reports for key accounts or management (including principals) to provide insights, assess performance, and inform strategic decisions.
Analyze key account sales data and submit monthly reports on time by tracking performance, identifying trends, and informing strategic decisions.
Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment, while addressing customer issues promptly and effectively to maintain satisfaction.
Negotiate for expanding share of shelves and ensuring pragmatic displays for company products.
Work closely with superiors and the marketing team to execute the yearly promotional calendar for assigned accounts.
Achieve collection targets on time.
Conduct visits to outstation branches to audit market checks and provide on-the-job training to key account sales personnel to ensure consistency in duties.
Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by superiors.
Job Requirements
Minimum Diploma holder or higher education level.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in the FMCG industry.
Strong rapport with buyers in hypermarkets, supermarket chains, and local key retail chains.
Digital savvy and proficient in MS Office applications.
Possess own transport and willing to travel.
