Job description

1. To assist Consultants in managing patients in the ward.

2. To ensure the medical needs of patients are addressed timely and appropriately.

3. To supervise nursing staff and therapists in medical-related issues.

4. To be in charge of patient education programs for medical matters.

5. To ensure all medical documentation is up to date.

6. To review patients in other hospitals prior to transfer to ReGen.

B. Marketing
  1. To be involved in marketing activities organized by RRI.
  2. To help promote the Inpatient Rehabilitation Program.
  3. To have good and sustainable networking with other medical officers in public and private hospitals.
  4. To assist in creating educational and promotional materials for social media.
C. Research and Audit
  1. To maintain relevant quality data for audits and monthly reviews.
  2. To engage in research when advised by Consultants.
  3. To stay updated with EBM and ensure clinical management aligns with recent guidelines.
  4. To problem-solve service issues with tact and resourcefulness.
  5. To ensure adherence to professional and legal standards.
  6. To identify opportunities for new clinical programs based on community needs and participate in their development.
D. Quality Assurance Program
  1. Responsible for achieving, monitoring, and reporting quality indicators and KPIs.
  2. Responsible for participating in quality audits and accreditation processes as assigned.
E. Training
  1. To update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.
  2. To actively pursue learning opportunities about rehabilitation diagnoses, services, and technologies within and outside ReGen.
F. Service Delivery
  1. To display exemplary patient/customer service, thereby retaining accounts and referral sources.
  2. To serve as an advocate and educate hospitals and communities on rehabilitation.
Minimum Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
Education / Professional Qualifications
  1. Degree in medical/nursing field.
  2. Certification in rehabilitation nursing or a related specialty is highly recommended.
Professional Experience / Minimum Requirements
  1. At least 2 years of related clinical experience; rehabilitation experience is highly recommended.
  2. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  3. Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  4. Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
