Job description

Join our innovative Structured Warrants business in Kuala Lumpur to accelerate your career working in the leading issuer of derivative warrants in Asia. Together with a collaborative and high-performing team of professionals, you’ll use your experience in financial product sales and relationship management to drive business growth in Malaysia.

At Macquarie, our advantage is bringing together diverse people and empowering them to shape all kinds of possibilities. We are a global financial services group operating in 34 markets and with 55 years of unbroken profitability. You’ll be part of a friendly and supportive team where everyone - no matter what role - contributes ideas and drives outcomes.

What role will you play?

You will be responsible for strengthening and potentially expanding the distribution coverage of our structured warrants by driving sales proactively through exploring and generating new leads and distribution channels, building long term relationships with and providing a high level of service to brokers, advisors and investors with a nimble and collaborative approach, and apply your negotiation skills to ultimately drive product sales. By staying up to date on the local and foreign market news, you will be able to add value to relationships, produce content for our social media platforms and assist in the structuring of new warrants based on investor feedback or market behaviour.

What you offer

• Demonstrated success in building and maintaining relationships with clients and/or stakeholders with strong communication skills and experience in public speaking.

• Existing network, experience and a proven track record in a financial markets’ sales role, particularly in equities and/or derivatives, is an advantage.

• A team player with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently.

• Self-motivated, high energy analytical lateral thinker with a can-do attitude, passion in financial markets, strong drive to succeed and willingness to learn.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Additional language capability in Mandarin is an advantage but not essential to the role.

We love hearing from anyone inspired to build a better future with us. If you're excited about the role or working at Macquarie, we encourage you to apply.
