Armed with exciting plans to expand and transform their business, they are looking to bring on board an IT Audit professional to join their team in Petaling Jaya.

The new role

You will be part of the vital process of managing manage audit assignments, ensuring these are appropriately staffed and arrive at relevant conclusions . Lead major audits according to impact / risk of the assignment and support the annual planning process. Lead the Audit Team ensuring that the team is provided with clear direction, trained, and motivated to meet set targets. Perform the appraisal process regularly for direct reports to manage individual performance and career aspirations. Design training programs for audit staff and monitor the quality standard of his/her team. Support the Regional Office Head in the recruitment of audit staff.

Requirements to succeed

The successful candidate should have university graduate and at least 5-6 years relevant IT audit ,either within the audit profession working experience . Ideally, you should deliver effective communication as well as possess stakeholder’s management skills for this role. Strong knowledge with IT systems development cycle , IT standards and guideliness is an added advantage.

• Big Four auditing/consulting experience and/or experience in IT Security and IT Risk Management
• Prior staff management experience leading high performing teams.
• Knowledge of IT and digitalization trends and developments
• Relevant certification (CISA or CIA) will be an added advantage.
