A Shipping Operation Executive plays a key role in managing and coordinating the logistical aspects of shipping goods, whether domestically or internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Shipping Coordination:
2. Arrange shipments (sea, air, or land) based on delivery schedules.
3. Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners.
4. Prepare and verify shipping documents (e.g., Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List).
5. Documentation and Compliance:
6. Ensure all shipping documents comply with customs and import/export regulations.
7. Liaise with customs brokers and regulatory authorities for clearance procedures.
8. Track and manage shipping licenses or permits if needed.
9. Inventory & Warehouse Coordination:
10. Monitor inventory levels related to outbound shipments.
11. Coordinate with warehouse teams for order picking, packing, and dispatch.
12. Tracking and Reporting:
13. Monitor shipment status and provide regular updates to customers or relevant departments.
14. Handle shipping issues such as delays, damages, or lost goods.
15. Maintain accurate records for audits and reporting.
16. Customer and Internal Communication:
17. Serve as the point of contact between clients, internal departments (sales, finance, procurement), and logistics providers.
18. Respond to shipping-related inquiries or complaints professionally.
