Job description

Sri Nona Food Manufacturing Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Cocoaland) has evolved from a family-owned producer of snacks and fruit gummies to a major confectionery manufacturer listed on Bursa. It is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Fraser & Neave Holdings Bhd (F&NHB), following a full acquisition on 4 November 2022.

What will you do?

1. Operate and monitor wastewater treatment equipment including pumps, blowers, valves, chemical dosing systems, and control panels.
2. Perform regular sampling and testing of water and sludge to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
3. Record operational data such as flow rates, pH levels, turbidity, chemical dosages, and other process indicators.
4. Conduct routine maintenance on plant equipment such as pumps, motors, valves, and aeration systems.
5. Collaborate with technicians, operators, engineers, and supervisors to ensure smooth plant operation.

About you?

1. Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field, or a certificate in Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
2. Minimum of 1 year experience in wastewater treatment.
3. Ability to operate machinery.
4. Willing to work in various weather conditions.
5. Team player.
