Job description

Job Description: Driver Cum Warehouseman

1. Responsible for shipping and receiving parts.

2. Responsible for transporting manpower for site/offshore mobilization & demobilization.

3. Acknowledge receipt and arrange delivery of parts or equipment from/to customers and vendors within the assigned territory.

4. Assist the Parts Supervisor in monitoring warehouse/store activities and handling inventory management.

5. Inspect documents, verify receipt, and ensure all parts and equipment are received in good condition and according to specifications.

6. Segregate spare parts for distribution to mechanics.

7. Liaise with Kastam Diraja Malaysia for received and outgoing spare parts from Kemaman Supply Base, Kemaman, Terengganu.

8. Control the movement of special tools and ensure inventories are updated.

9. Maintain a clean and well-organized warehouse to promote a safe working environment in compliance with applicable legislation.

10. Follow and implement the company’s policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.

Job Purpose: Driver Cum Warehouseman

1. Plan transportation of manpower & parts as per schedule prepared by the Service Head.

2. Assist the parts supervisor in managing parts operations.

3. Organize parts operations and ensure all details are properly recorded.

4. Ensure parts are well organized and stored for easy access.

5. Maintain the parts store in good condition and ensure cleanliness.

6. Conduct stock checks of parts when necessary.

7. Package parts and related items for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).

8. Stage CAT parts for loading onto vessels.

9. Unload raw materials from vessels and move to warehouse storage.

10. Responsible for quality control: ensure no damaged products are sent out and no damaged raw materials are accepted.

11. Enforce discipline, safety, and good housekeeping practices on the worksite.

Requirements:
