Job description

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled Staff Nurse (Midwife) to join our team and provide exceptional care for our maternity patients.

1. Anticipate potential risks and execute appropriate actions to ensure a safe environment.
2. Perform initial examinations and continuous monitoring of expectant mothers, responsible for delivering safe, effective, and efficient nursing care and therapeutic treatments during labour and delivery.
3. Care for and assist mothers during labour, monitoring the fetus in utero using appropriate clinical and technical means.
4. Conduct deliveries in emergency situations.
5. Ensure the completion of all required competencies and orientation checklists within the stipulated time frame.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Nursing
• Post-basic certificate / Advanced diploma in Midwifery
• Registered with the Malaysian Nursing Board
• 1-3 years or more of relevant experience in a Delivery Suite
