The Wealth, Retail Banking (WRB) division is accelerating the transformation towards agile banking services through DevOps and Agile practices, aiming for efficiency, automation, and transparency. Delivery Sprint Teams will be central to implementing this agenda.

These teams will build and integrate components of the DevOps pipeline to deliver new banking capabilities and refactor existing applications. The teams will comprise experienced programmers, operations personnel, and product owners capable of developing and driving their capabilities end-to-end. Candidates should demonstrate breadth across programming and system operations, with depth in their specialization. This is a cross-functional team bridging development, operations, and business units.

Mobile Web Developer

As a Web Engineer, you will focus on product development, collaborate with your squad to finalize end-to-end solutions, and deliver products to the Bank’s digital channels. You will analyze and improve the digital platform from both technical and user experience perspectives, staying updated with latest technologies and sharing knowledge with your team.

The team develops user-centric web-based digital banking applications for internal staff and external customers globally. You will work with skilled engineers on web and responsive front-end platforms, contributing to the evolving technical direction of the team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a new generation of Digital Banking to enhance user experience.
• Participate in agile development of mobile banking solutions.
• Apply knowledge of UI design principles, optimize applications, gather requirements, and support deployment.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and squads to deliver user-centric solutions.
• Promote Agile practices and modern engineering techniques.
• Coordinate with development and deployment teams to ensure smooth delivery.
• Manage risks, issues, and schedules following Agile principles.
• Work with DevOps and testing teams to build continuous delivery pipelines.
• Adapt to changing priorities and requirements.

Skills and Experience

Mandatory Skills:

• Experience in Web application development (JavaScript, TypeScript, >=ES6).
• Expertise in ReactJS, Vue, or Angular.
• Strong UI design and responsive design skills.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools (Nginx, shell scripting, Docker).
• Experience with APIs, maintainable code, testing techniques, and problem-solving.
• Understanding of Micro-Frontend architecture.
• Proficiency in Declarative Programming and Unidirectional Data Flow.

Preferred Experience:

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science or Software Engineering with 5+ years of experience.
• Full SDLC experience and DevOps toolchain familiarity (Microsoft ADO, GIT, Jenkins, etc.).
• Experience with build tools like webpack or Vite.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Experience with mobile hybrid architecture, WebView, JS bridges, and web security.

Processes

Good understanding of IT development processes, delivery quality management, and cross-department collaboration.
