Job Title: VCE Data Analytics Teacher
Location: Selangor, Malaysia

About the Role

Due to continued growth and success, Peninsula International School Australia (Malaysia) is expanding its VCE subject offerings and is seeking to appoint a qualified and enthusiastic teacher for Senior School Applied Computing: Data Analytics. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic international school delivering the Victorian Curriculum in partnership with the prestigious Peninsula Grammar School in Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach VCE Applied Computing: Data Analytics to students in Years 10 -12.

  • Deliver engaging, creative, and well-planned lessons that challenge and motivate students.

  • Support students in developing data solutions using analytical tools and technologies.

  • Foster skills in data collection, interpretation, visualisation, and ethical use of data.

  • Apply theoretical concepts to real-world scenarios in a clear and practical way.

  • Contribute to a collaborative and supportive teaching environment.

  • Uphold the highest standards of student welfare and child safeguarding.

Essential Requirements
  • A recognised teaching degree or equivalent (e.g., PGCE).

  • Minimum 6 years teaching experience.

  • Experience teaching VCE or other recognised international curricula (e.g., CAIE, IB, IEB).

  • Strong command of English and excellent communication skills.

  • Proven ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.

  • A collaborative, team-oriented approach and commitment to student development.

  • Clean enhanced DBS or equivalent police clearance.

Desirable (but not essential)
  • Familiarity with student management systems (e.g., iSAMS, SIMS).

  • Level 1 Google Educator certification.

  • Prior teaching experience in Southeast Asia.

Additional Information
  • Timetable: Approximately 16 teaching periods per week (out of 30).

  • Class Size: Around 20 students per class.

  • Reports To: VCE Coordinator, Head of Senior School, and School Principal.

  • Sponsorship: Appointed candidates will be fully sponsored to attend a one-week professional development programme at Peninsula Grammar in Melbourne, Australia, in February 2026.
