Due to continued growth and success, Peninsula International School Australia (Malaysia) is expanding its VCE subject offerings and is seeking to appoint a qualified and enthusiastic teacher for Senior School Applied Computing: Data Analytics. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic international school delivering the Victorian Curriculum in partnership with the prestigious Peninsula Grammar School in Australia.
Teach VCE Applied Computing: Data Analytics to students in Years 10 -12.
Deliver engaging, creative, and well-planned lessons that challenge and motivate students.
Support students in developing data solutions using analytical tools and technologies.
Foster skills in data collection, interpretation, visualisation, and ethical use of data.
Apply theoretical concepts to real-world scenarios in a clear and practical way.
Contribute to a collaborative and supportive teaching environment.
Uphold the highest standards of student welfare and child safeguarding.
A recognised teaching degree or equivalent (e.g., PGCE).
Minimum 6 years teaching experience.
Experience teaching VCE or other recognised international curricula (e.g., CAIE, IB, IEB).
Strong command of English and excellent communication skills.
Proven ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Strong administrative and organisational skills.
A collaborative, team-oriented approach and commitment to student development.
Clean enhanced DBS or equivalent police clearance.
Familiarity with student management systems (e.g., iSAMS, SIMS).
Level 1 Google Educator certification.
Prior teaching experience in Southeast Asia.
Timetable: Approximately 16 teaching periods per week (out of 30).
Class Size: Around 20 students per class.
Reports To: VCE Coordinator, Head of Senior School, and School Principal.
Sponsorship: Appointed candidates will be fully sponsored to attend a one-week professional development programme at Peninsula Grammar in Melbourne, Australia, in February 2026.
