About the role

As the Group Finance Manager at SL Precision Tools & Dies Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial leadership role in managing the financial operations and strategic direction of the company. Based in Puchong, Selangor, this full-time position involves overseeing financial planning, analysis, and reporting for the entire group. You will be a key member of the senior management team, driving financial decisions that support the company's growth and sustainability.

Job Description

• Responsible for the group’s full spectrum of finance, costing, accounting, taxation, company secretarial, and auditing functions.
• Ensure accurate, timely preparation of periodic group financial, management, and statutory reports.
• Lead and manage product costing and departmental costing analysis.
• Handle financial planning, budget preparation, cash flow analysis, and implement effective financial controls.
• Manage the group’s corporate tax, sales tax, customs duty, and other taxation matters, including tax planning.
• Liaise with external auditors, financial institutions, and relevant authorities.
• Ensure compliance with all financial transactions, systems, procedures, regulations, and MFRS accounting standards.
• Review and recommend improvements to internal accounting policies, risk management, internal controls, systems, and processes.
• Prepare consolidated accounts for the group.
• Supervise, lead, and motivate the accounting and finance team.

What we're looking for

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
• At least 8 years of experience in a senior finance role, preferably in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
• A proven track record in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and make strategic recommendations.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build and motivate a high-performing finance team.
• Proficiency in financial software and systems, including ERP, Excel, and business intelligence tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective liaison with senior stakeholders.
• A strategic mindset and the ability to contribute to overall business strategy.
