About the role

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Assistant Finance Manager to join the team at LYL Group. In this full-time position based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, you will play a key role in supporting the overall financial operations and reporting for the company.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assist in reviewing, preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements as required.
  2. Ensure completeness by executives in accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  3. Review and ensure the reconciliation of bank statements and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
  4. Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial analyses as required.
  5. Liaise with internal stakeholders and external auditors, tax agents, bankers, or lawyers to provide financial information and support.
  6. Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and controls.
  7. Provide backup support for the team and Finance Manager / Finance Controller as needed.

What we're looking for

  • A diploma or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a finance, accounting, or audit role. Tax knowledge is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., Autocount) and MS Office applications.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team that promotes teamwork.
  • Sound knowledge of Malaysian financial reporting standards and regulations.
  • Senior executives are encouraged to apply for new challenges.
