About the job: Country Finance Manager

Qashier is seeking a Country Finance Manager to support our growth. The ideal candidate will collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies, act as a business partner and decision-maker, and provide regular financial reports.

Key Responsibilities

1. Handle daily finance operations, including vendor payments.
2. Prepare month-end closing reports with analysis and commentary for the Head Office.
3. Involve minimally in treasury functions for cash flow planning and provide financial insights to support local business strategies.
4. Assist the Head Office in planning, developing, and executing financial strategies aligned with the Group's overall objectives.
5. Coordinate the group’s annual budget process and monitor progress towards targets; recommend actions to regional management.
6. Maintain and update finance processes and workflows.
7. Assist with internal and external audits.
8. Liaise with bankers, auditors, tax agents, and government bodies on finance-related matters.
9. Undertake other finance-related tasks or ad-hoc projects.

Candidate Requirements

1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, ACCA, or equivalent.
2. 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a technology company.
3. Expertise in Finance Operations, FP&A, and Finance Strategy.
4. Advanced Microsoft Office skills are required.
5. Experience with Xero is advantageous.
6. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
7. Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work under pressure.
8. Organized and detail-oriented.
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
