Business Development Executive (Logistics)

  1. Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
  2. Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media.
  3. Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their needs and concerns.
  4. Prepare and deliver presentations on products and services.
  5. Create regular reviews and reports with sales and financial data.
  6. Represent the company at exhibitions or conferences.
  7. Collaborate with the pricing team to review market trends and requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Diploma / Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or related fields.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the Logistics & Freight Forwarding industry with exposure to sales and business development.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in transportation industry and sales.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to plan and organize appointments effectively and meet reporting deadlines.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of sales success.
  • Excellent business communication and writing skills.
  • Experience in prospecting, growing, and managing revenue.
  • Customer-driven and self-motivated with a results-oriented approach.
