You will assist in providing support to the Legal & Regulatory department in all aspects, including but not limited to legal and secretarial duties and functions related to operational and compliance with statutory regulations and guidelines involving AIMS Group of Companies.

Work Life:
Legal
  • Assisting Legal & Regulatory Counsel in providing legal support to all business units of the company.
  • Drafting contracts and other legal documents.
  • Reviewing simple non-complex agreements, contracts, and other legal documents from customers and vendors.
  • Analyzing and identifying legal risks and implications, providing constructive advice and solutions related to the identified risks.
Company Secretarial
  • Ensuring proper maintenance of all required corporate filings and reports, and timely lodgment of statutory returns and documents in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Assisting with coordinating and attending Board, Committees, General Meetings, including preparation of board papers and minutes.
  • Assisting with liaising with MCMC and other relevant authorities regarding regulatory compliance matters.
  • Monitoring deadlines and ensuring internal governance policies are followed, with regular compliance monitoring.
  • Ensuring timely renewal of business licenses and permits.
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
Other Duties
  • Planning, organizing, facilitating, and administering internal and external learning activities, including providing training to employees.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in law or related field.
  • Possess ICSA qualification or be a Licensed Secretary with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience related to compliance or legal matters.
  • Independent, eager to work in a collaborative environment, with strong work ethics and a desire to achieve excellence.
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Malay.
