About the job SAP HANA ABAP Technical Consultant

We are seeking a skilled SAP HANA ABAP Technical Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in ABAP development with a focus on SAP HANA technologies, working on complex technical challenges and optimizing applications for performance and scalability.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, optimize, and maintain SAP ABAP programs and solutions tailored for SAP HANA.
• Design and implement CDS views, AMDP, and SQLScript for HANA-native applications.
• Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform system enhancements, upgrades, and customizations related to SAP HANA and ABAP.
• Conduct performance tuning and code optimization, ensuring solutions are scalable and efficient.
• Develop technical specifications and documentation for custom developments and modifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in ABAP and HANA, providing post-go-live support as needed.
• Ensure that all developments adhere to SAP best practices and guidelines.

Requirements:

• 5-8+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development, including experience with SAP HANA.
• Proficient in ABAP OOP, CDS views, AMDP, and SQLScript for HANA development.
• Expertise in SAP HANA data modeling, performance tuning, and code optimization.
• Strong understanding of SAP functional modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, etc.) and their integration with ABAP.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Web IDE or Eclipse for ABAP development on HANA.
• Knowledge of SAP Gateway and OData services for Fiori app development is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• SAP HANA or ABAP certification is an advantage.
