Responsibilities:
  1. Accurate and timely preparation and analysis of bi-weekly multi-state payroll data, while meeting key controls and payroll compliance for all steps of the payroll cycle.
  2. Prepare standard and ad hoc reports using report writing tools, supporting reporting requirements of the payroll department, stakeholders, and internal/external audit.
  3. Manage change control efforts for configuration changes and interface enhancements or new development.
  4. Setup and testing of new earning, deduction, and memo codes within timekeeping and payroll.
  5. Partner with accounting for payroll reconciliation and assist in resolving general ledger discrepancies of account posting and funding for all on/off cycle payroll runs.
  6. Perform quarterly and annual reconciliation of tax filings. Critically review and analyze current tax procedures to recommend and implement changes leading to best-practice operations.
  7. Understand all internal policies and procedures and ensure they are adhered to regarding all payroll operations defined by the Payroll Manager.
  8. Support a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration with the payroll team consistent with Herbalife’s mission, vision, and values.
Minimum Qualifications:
Skills:
  • Possess strong analytical skills
  • ADP experience, preferably with ADP Celergo, Time Management, Kronos.
  • Knowledge of payroll regulations and reporting requirements, including federal and multi-state payroll taxes
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, relationship, and consensus-building skills; effectively gains agreement and consensus for ideas within the department and other key stakeholders.
  • Ability to work across departments, providing input into payroll systems and processes, and building strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Efficiently manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in identifying and mitigating operational risk through effective controls.
  • Ability to present and communicate ideas effectively to gain support and consensus.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation management.
Experience:
  • 3-4 years’ experience in a payroll operations and systems role, preferably in an ADP environment with ADP Celergo.
  • Knowledge in payroll processing, tax filing, general ledger, and HR system integration.
  • Experience in payroll process design, metrics, project management, and change management.
  • Proven success in managing interface design and automation, requiring technical and functional expertise.
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR Management, Finance, or related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, PowerPoint; Project and Access are a plus.
  • Familiarity with Oracle, Kronos.
  • Experience with system integrations between payroll, time and attendance systems, and external vendors.
  • Experience with ADP Celergo, ADP eTime, etc.
