OVERVIEW:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

YOUR ROLE AS:

The Maintenance Operation Control (MOC) Engineer is responsible for monitoring fleet airworthiness, overseeing maintenance activities, and ensuring aircraft operations align with the scheduled plans. This role involves coordinating with Part 145 AMO and collaborating with departments such as the Operations Control Center, Flight Operations, and Engineering to manage operational and maintenance plans effectively.

WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION:

  • Monitor aircraft defects, review JML/DDML, and initiate troubleshooting and rectification plans. Analyze faults recorded by the Aircraft Condition Monitoring System (ACMS) for further action.
  • Monitor and verify all engineering delays, and compile monthly OTP reports.
  • Attend weekly and monthly On-Time Performance (OTP) meetings.
  • Monitor the validity of 36 Hours Check, Weekly Check, Stayover Check, and 10 Days Check, and plan for required ground time.
  • Participate in the Safety Action Group (SAG) team and manage Safety Reports assigned to MOC.
  • Manage DDML & AMD defects, and initiate spare parts and rectification plans.
  • Coordinate with Part 145 AMO Technical Handlers regarding aircraft schedules, maintenance requirements, invoices, and FAMO.
  • Liaise with Part 145 AMO for maintenance planning and ground time for defects and AMP tasks.

WHO YOU ARE:

Education & Qualifications:

  • Degree/Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering, Aircraft Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
  • EASA/CAAM Part 66 License (required).

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years in aircraft maintenance, maintenance control, or engineering operations.
  • Experience with Part 145 AMO or airline operations is an advantage.
  • Experience with Aircraft Condition Monitoring Systems (ACMS) and defect management.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance planning, airworthiness requirements, and regulatory compliance (CAAM, EASA, FAA).
  • Knowledge of JML/DDML and AMD processes.
  • Familiarity with OTP reporting and analysis.
  • Ability to interpret aircraft logs, manuals, and fault reports.
  • Proficiency in maintenance tracking systems and airline management software.

Soft Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented team player.
  • Willing to work on-site, including nights, weekends, and holidays if required.
  • Quick decision-making skills to support operational safety and efficiency.
