About The Role

As a CBRE Facilities Manager, you will manage a team responsible for overseeing building operations and maintenance for a facility, campus, or portfolio of small to medium-sized buildings.

This role is part of the Facilities Management area, focusing on all aspects of asset operations and supporting Property Managers with repairs and investment plans.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide supervision to employees, monitor staff training and development, conduct performance evaluations, and oversee recruitment.
  • Manage daily team activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, and mentor staff.
  • Coordinate facility repairs and maintenance with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
  • Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved issues.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, capital projects, and variance reports.
  • Perform facility inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and suggest operational improvements.
  • Manage environmental health and safety procedures.
  • Oversee vendor relationships and review procurement quotes.
  • Conduct training on maintenance, repairs, and safety protocols.
  • Lead by example, embody CBRE RISE values, and facilitate agreement among stakeholders.
  • Apply interdisciplinary knowledge to achieve team objectives.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, with 5-8 years of relevant experience in managing industrial facilities. Equivalent experience and education may be considered. Valid driver’s license required. Facility Management certification is a plus.
  • Experience in staffing, training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Strong communication skills for handling sensitive and complex information.
  • Leadership skills to motivate and improve team performance.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a curious mindset.
  • Advanced math skills for financial calculations.
