· A recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Building/Civil Engineering/its equivalent preferably with MBA.

· Minimum 8 - 10 years related working experience in Civil Construction Project Management.

· Strong leadership qualities, resourceful, result-orientated and possess good managerial and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

· Implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the QESH Management System.

· Provide and demonstrate the leadership and commitment for the overall implementation of the QESH Management System in the department.

· Take accountability for the effectiveness of the QESH Management System in the department.

· Ensure that the QESH Management System conforms to the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards in the department.

· Take responsibility and accountability for prevention of work-related injury and ill health in the project.

· Promote use of process approach, risk-based thinking and life cycle perspective in the organisation.

· Promote customer focus and improvement in the department.

· Comply with client and applicable legal and other requirements.

· Determine risks, opportunities and plan actions and ensure they are implemented.

· Report on performance of QESH Management System including QESH performance in the department to the Top Management.

· Plan out the overall project budget for efficient project control and participate in negotiation and settlement of all contractual changes and finalisation of the contract and variation orders within Tender & Contracts Department.

· Utilise and mobilise the required services of various departments within the organisation, construction etc. and to monitor and coordinate the same within the project site.

· Assist the General Manager - Tender & Contracts in conducting technical and contractual reviews to ensure that the work is being executed in accordance with the contract documents.

· Review periodically the performance of the works of subcontractors/suppliers and initiate remedial actions if required to maintain the project on schedule.

· Represent the company in liaison with local authorities, clients and subcontractors on project matters.

· Maintain and ensure all documentation (including records) necessary for finalisation of contract are in order.

· Implement and enforce site personnel, workers and subcontractors for quality, environmental and safety and health practices at their workplace.

· Chair project site environmental and safety and health committee meetings.

· Arrange for proper final project hand over to the clients/concerned authorities.

· Ensure all facets of the project ranging from construction works, project and quality, environmental and safety and health management, cost control, quality assurance to meet the targets set by the Project Director.
