What will you be doing?
- Develop and implement a robust, multi-layered security program aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
- Manage the security budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal resource allocation.
- Oversee the appointment of Security Guarding Services and ensure proper execution of service agreements.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the Head of Department on security status, emerging threats, and incident response activities.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential threats.
- Collaborate on security system upgrades, including CCTV, Access Control, and VMS systems.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize security incidents and breaches.
- Stay informed about evolving security threats and industry best practices.
- Develop and maintain security policies, protocols, and procedures across the organization.
- Lead and coordinate security investigations and emergency responses.
- Conduct post-incident reviews and implement improvements.
- Support investigations and coordinate immediate actions with relevant departments.
- Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders such as law enforcement and security vendors.
- Ensure effective integration and continuous monitoring of security systems.
- Keep updated on legislative and regulatory changes affecting security policies.
- Maintain knowledge of modern security systems and technologies.
- Support other Human Capital functions as needed.
What do you bring?
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in security management.
- Languages: Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of security and compliance standards such as SMETA, SEDEX, FSSC 2200, RBA.
- Skills: Strong leadership, incident response, presentation, and training skills; proficiency in office and security management software.
