What will you be doing?
  1. Develop and implement a robust, multi-layered security program aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
  2. Manage the security budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal resource allocation.
  3. Oversee the appointment of Security Guarding Services and ensure proper execution of service agreements.
  4. Provide regular updates and reports to the Head of Department on security status, emerging threats, and incident response activities.
  5. Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential threats.
  6. Collaborate on security system upgrades, including CCTV, Access Control, and VMS systems.
  7. Develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize security incidents and breaches.
  8. Stay informed about evolving security threats and industry best practices.
  9. Develop and maintain security policies, protocols, and procedures across the organization.
  10. Lead and coordinate security investigations and emergency responses.
  11. Conduct post-incident reviews and implement improvements.
  12. Support investigations and coordinate immediate actions with relevant departments.
  13. Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders such as law enforcement and security vendors.
  14. Ensure effective integration and continuous monitoring of security systems.
  15. Keep updated on legislative and regulatory changes affecting security policies.
  16. Maintain knowledge of modern security systems and technologies.
  17. Support other Human Capital functions as needed.
What do you bring?
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in security management.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of security and compliance standards such as SMETA, SEDEX, FSSC 2200, RBA.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, incident response, presentation, and training skills; proficiency in office and security management software.
