Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure the timely deployment of People Development plans and assure team competencies as per the agreed plan with PM, including proper training on equipment, safety procedures, and hygiene.
2. Enforce strict compliance to SOPs by all personnel within the shift.
3. Coach employees to fulfill and exceed job requirements using the NCE approach.
4. Maintain clean and functional working areas in accordance with GMP standards.
5. Check and enforce personnel hygiene and safety protocols, including protective clothing, shoe changes, and handwashing.
6. Support continuous improvement and employee involvement culture through NCE, driving for excellence and supporting staff in their tasks.
7. Provide timely feedback and coaching to develop individuals and teams to their full potential in line with NCE guidelines.
8. Ensure succession plans and development through coaching and training of direct reports.
9. Distribute skills effectively to meet production plans.
10. Coordinate the timely launch of new products to the market as per business unit agreements.
11. Ensure proper maintenance of installations in coordination with quality, engineering, and administration teams.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven knowledge in food manufacturing or a degree in Food Science, Engineering, or related fields.
• Relevant work experience in manufacturing industry.
• Positive attitude and good interpersonal skills.
• Leadership demonstrated through project management within a factory environment.
• Experience in managing unionized shopfloors is a plus.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English, both written and spoken.
