.Net Developer

Your roles and responsibilities:

1. Development on the following:
1. New applications or new features to existing applications.
2. Applications in accordance to organisation-established standards, architecture and practices.
2. Collaboration with:
1. Solution Architecture to apply frameworks, patterns, and new technologies in application.
2. Technical Support to analyse, troubleshoot and solve technical problems.
3. Quality Control to ensure rectification of defects and closure of software bugs.
4. Database Administration to ensure well-optimised database designs and queries.
5. Infrastructure division/customers to ensure successful deployment and configuration of applications.
3. Produce well-organised, optimised, documented and version-controlled source code.
4. Perform rigorous unit testing on developed code to meet quality metrics.
5. Maintain and support existing applications.
6. Debug and fix code issues.
7. Participate in requirement specifications, design, testing and implementation.
8. Adapt to different software development methodologies.
9. Continuously improve technical knowledge to improve job performance.

What we need from you:

1. At least 3 years of working experience in web application development using ASP.NET.
2. Good verbal and written English and Bahasa Malaysia communication skills.
3. Knowledge of other languages would be an advantage.
4. Personality traits - pleasant personality, good attitude, self-motivated, enthusiastic, meticulous, result-oriented, responsible, independent, trustworthy, ethical, problem solving and team player.
5. Technical knowledge - Visual Studio, the C# programming language, Object-Oriented Programming, T-SQL.
6. Experience in MSMQ, ASMX Web Services, WCF and REST is an added advantage.
7. Able to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
8. Good attitude with the passion and willingness to pick-up new technologies.
9. Possess Degree/Diploma in Engineering (Computer), Computer Science/Information Technology or its equivalent.
