Job description

Job Objective

Support customers, address enquiries, and facilitate transactions to cater to customers’ needs (process sales orders).

Core Responsibilities
  1. Build relationships with existing customers by understanding their needs and assisting with their queries.
  2. Manage customer orders and communicate requirements to internal stakeholders (Supply Chain, Operations, Account, Quality Assurance).
  3. Update customers on the status of shipments, monitor their credit terms, and assist with the collection of payments.
  4. Receive all customer-supplied items delivered to the plant, and arrange delivery or self-collection of products.
  5. Plan material schedules for key private label customers.
  6. Prepare costing, quotations, and handle administrative duties of the Business Development department.
  7. Verify and endorse purchase orders and process sales orders.
  8. Analyze customer order history, monitor repeat orders, and take actions to understand situations and alert the Business Development Manager on follow-up actions.
  9. Assist Senior Business Development Executive in managing and developing branding and marketing collaterals of in-house brands.
  10. Manage SAP B1 system and update relevant information (product codes, orders) for production and operations.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Highly meticulous and able to meet tight deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in verbal and written English and/or Mandarin to effectively interact with customers.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of SAP B1 is an advantage.
