Your Key Responsibilities:
  1. Define dedicated supplier development projects and ensure their timely and task-oriented execution. Provide leadership to a supplier development engineer.
  2. Develop strategy roadmaps for supplier development in accordance with operating instructions and SOPs.
  3. Align technical supplier requirements with global procurement guidelines and develop supplier relationship trainings.
  4. Collaborate with R&D to understand technical requirements of future products and include them in scouting for new technology suppliers. Work with Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, etc., to improve supplier feedback processes.
  5. Review business processes for opportunities to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
What you will bring to the team:
  1. At least 8 years of experience in medical device engineering projects and machine development, with a minimum of 3 years in leadership. Experience in process improvements, Industry 4.0, and digital manufacturing is a plus.
  2. Project management experience supporting timely delivery within budgets, strategic planning, data analysis, and experience in regulated environments.
  3. A passion for science and engineering, strong discovery skills, curiosity, and motivation for learning. Ability to assess and manage risks, communicate effectively, and escalate issues when necessary.
  4. Ability to translate technical strategy into actionable initiatives, demonstrating business acumen and holistic thinking.
