Qualifications

• Minimum 2-5 years experience in IT network support position.

Job Description:

Network Engineer in charge of technical aspect in implementing and support of IT network projects for clients. Their duties include attending project meetings, technical requirement study, project planning and technical deployment of the network infrastructures project with other project team members. Other scope including taking part in technical support of any possible network operation faults, finer tuning and maintenance.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma, Advance Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Telecommunications) or equivalent
• IT Network knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP, Switching, Routing, VLAN, Wireless)
• IT Security knowledge (Firewall, EndPoint Security, Policy and Enforcement of Unified Threat Management)
• Ability to understand, produce network diagrams, documentation for design and planning network systems
• Strong ability with interest to pick up and learn new technology or solution through technical research, training, hands-on trial, and self R&D
• Proficient in English communication with ability to speak and write effectively, capable of responding to calls and meetings with customers, team members and vendors
• Hands-on experience with configuration, monitoring and network diagnostics
• CCNA/HCIA or higher would be an added advantage
• Project management experience or having been integral to projects would be an advantage
• Result-oriented with excellent process and SOP execution with the right attitudes is important.
• Minimum 2-5 years working experience in IT network support position

Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in given technical assignment in the company's network infrastructure project.
• Involve and take part in project study for network infrastructure design
• Communicate and collaborate with multitier personnel, such as clients, partners and vendors for scope of deliverable.
• Take part in project delivery, management, installation, configuration, testing and maintenance of network infrastructure
• Prepare pre and post-project documentation
• Liaise with vendors and IT personnel for solution resolution and escalation if required.
• Attend to Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues and ensure meeting SLA
• Act as advisor and technical educator for non-technical team members in aspect of IT network knowledge and know-how.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 6:00pm
• Occasionally Weekend and Public Holiday on Project basis
