Material Handler

Job Description
Work Location: Onsite – Johor, Malaysia.

Temporary site: Tanjung Pelepas, Gelang Patah

Permanent Site (We will be moving in Q3 of 2025): Pasir Gudang

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Material Handler to join our Warehouse team in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the receipt of incoming goods and materials, ensuring accuracy in inventory records, and supporting efficient warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery notes for accuracy in quantity, quality, and condition.
  • Accurately document received goods, update inventory systems, and maintain detailed records of all inbound shipments.
  • Communicate with procurement, production, and warehouse teams to ensure timely and accurate receipt and allocation of materials.
  • Conduct quality checks on incoming materials and report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the appropriate departments.
  • Assist in organizing and storing received goods in designated areas, ensuring efficient warehouse layout and material flow.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations, and contribute to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
  • Continuously work to improve KPI’s for receipt to stock as well as driving reductions for non-conformances of receipts.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Possess 5-7 years' experience in a receiving or warehouse role in a manufacturing environment preferably in high technology or semiconductor industry.
  • Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items as required (for material handler position).
  • We have several headcounts for this position.
