Job description

Job Summary

This individual will be part of the GRM – Enterprise Risk Management team supporting the US. The individual will supervise the team directly supporting the Risk Appetite and Identification group within Enterprise Risk Management, which also includes the Regulatory Compliance Management (RCM) and Business Management teams.

Job Description

Management and Team Oversight

  • Management responsibilities, including goal setting and performance management activities.
  • Support with status updates, planning, and reporting to regulators, compliance, senior management, project owners, and other stakeholders, as needed.
  • Provide peer coaching and mentorship to achieve specific goals, solve problems, and improve team performance.
  • Assist with internal review of work deliverables to consistently improve quality of work.
  • Assist to oversee work processes and contribute ideas during team discussions.
  • Facilitate meetings with stakeholders and other key parties and organize presentations, as required.

Regulatory and Strategic Initiatives

  • Manage and support the execution of regulatory and strategic initiatives for the US.
  • Support the execution of RCM across GRM in the US.
  • Support CTB and RTB regulatory initiatives, engagement, responses, and remediation execution.
  • Support alignment and coordination with other Risk functions and stakeholders regarding regulatory initiatives and strategic operating approaches.

Business Analysis

  • Perform in-depth data analysis and examination to support decision-making and remediation/execution activities for regulatory and strategic work.
  • Create presentations and summary statistics for regulators, senior management, and other stakeholders, summarizing findings and proposed solutions.
  • Identify potential issues and areas for improvement in work processes or deliverables and provide actionable ideas to improve quality of work.
  • Assist with communication and governance strategies, ensuring buy-in from all stakeholders.
