Responsibilities

1. Identify potential suppliers that meet the company’s standards for price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply.
2. Responsible for sourcing, planning, purchasing, and inventory control of both direct and indirect materials.
3. Negotiate costs, compare quotations, and analyze proposals.
4. Handle purchasing duties such as issuing purchase orders, following up on deliveries, and processing payments.
5. Plan, source, and develop relationships with new potential suppliers.
6. Prepare monthly reports on purchasing and inventory.
7. Undertake additional duties as assigned by superiors.
8. Experience with steel fabricators is an advantage.

Job Requirements

• Possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate qualification in Business Studies, Administration, Management, Marketing, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience; experience in steel fabrication is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
