Job description

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. CPA or relevant certification is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or account management.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in English; proficiency in Malaysia and Mandarin is a MUST.
Accounting Operations
  • Review original vouchers to ensure their legality and authenticity.
  • Prepare journal vouchers to record business transactions.
  • Maintain subsidiary and general ledgers to ensure consistency between vouchers and ledgers.
  • Perform monthly accruals, amortizations, and transfers; prepare accurate and complete financial statements at month-end.
Financial Statement Preparation
  • Prepare financial reports such as the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.
  • Analyze financial statements to support business decision-making.
  • Be well-versed in national tax laws and regulations; accurately calculate and file various taxes.
  • Assist in tax planning to reduce tax risks.
  • Manage fixed assets and inventory; conduct regular physical inventory to ensure records match actual assets.
  • Assist the asset management department with audits and reconciliation of company property.
  • Monitor and supervise all economic activities of the company.
  • Ensure that all financial operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Other Responsibilities
  • Safeguard accounting vouchers, ledgers, and financial reports to ensure complete and secure records.
  • Regularly bind and archive accounting documents.
  • Complete other tasks assigned by leadership and actively support other departments as needed.
