The Civil & Structural (Installation Method)Drafter/Designer plays a key role in supporting both structural design and offshore installation activities. This role involves the preparation of detailed drawings for permanent structures (e.g., foundations, platforms, supports) as well as installation-related deliverables (e.g., rigging layouts, sea fastening, lifting arrangements). The drafter collaborates closely with installation engineers, method planners, and fabrication teams to ensure constructable, accurate, and safe designs that align with project execution plans.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare 2D and 3D drawings for civil and structural works, including foundations, platforms, supports, and other structural elements.

Develop installation method drawings such as rigging plans, lifting arrangements, load-out supports, grillage, and sea fastening details.

Support the creation of temporary structures and construction aids required for fabrication and offshore installation.

Coordinate with engineers from civil, structural, and installation disciplines to ensure seamless integration of permanent and temporary works.

Revise and update drawings based on redlines, site inputs, and engineering changes.

Ensure all drawings adhere to relevant codes, client specifications, and internal drafting standards.

Contribute to material take-offs (MTOs) and support the development of method statements and visual aids for construction.

Participate in constructability reviews and assist in pre-mobilization preparations when needed.

Education & Qualifications:

Diploma or Certificate in Civil/Structural Engineering, Drafting, or related field.

Certification in AutoCAD, Navisworks, Sketchup Pro, Tekla, or other CAD software is advantageous.

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of drafting experience in civil/structural or offshore installation projects is preferred.

Experience with offshore structures, heavy lifting, or fabrication yards is an added advantage.

Fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge, interest in offshore construction, and proficiency in drafting software are encouraged to apply. Training and guidance will be provided.
