Job description

Job Responsibilities
  1. Perform day-to-day accounting functions, including updating data into the accounting system.
  2. Maintain basic warehouse knowledge.
  3. File Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW) documentation.
  4. Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) & Accounts Payable (AP).
  5. Verify and prepare payments to suppliers, vendors, staff claims, and petty cash reimbursements.
  6. Liaise with external stakeholders such as auditors, tax agents, bankers, secretaries, and government agencies.
  7. Prepare income tax filings.
  8. Maintain monthly records of accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets.
  9. Ensure timely payments with proper approval and supporting documents.
  10. Update bank balances and prepare bank reconciliations.
  11. Maintain accurate and properly reconciled accounting records.
  12. Issue financial and operating statements in a timely manner.
  13. Ensure all filings are completed accurately and promptly.
  14. Maintain organized filing records and document control.
  15. Perform any other related duties as required by management.
  16. Assist with ad-hoc assignments as needed.
Requirements
  1. Degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or related fields.
  2. More than 3 years of experience in finance/accounting.
  3. Proficiency in English and MS Office.
  4. Result-oriented and detail-oriented.
  5. Structured approach to work.
  6. Flexibility in handling work tasks.
  7. Fluency in Mandarin is preferred, as it involves regular interaction with Mandarin-speaking clients.
