Why does this job exist and why is it critical?
The Executive of Maxis Centre is the store’s second-in-command, focusing on driving operational excellence to deliver an unmatched customer experience at retail. Responsibilities include managing store performance, creating a conducive customer journey, ensuring speedy and effective resolutions, and maintaining quality and compliance with policies and procedures. You will lead, motivate, engage, and develop the team to foster a service and performance culture. As a Maxis ambassador, you will believe that face-to-face interactions are vital in creating 'LIKE' moments for customers.
What are you accountable for?
- Leading the team to deliver a differentiated customer experience in a Maxis Concept Store by showcasing digital lifestyle solutions through in-store demonstrations and serving as a solutions advisor.
- Ensuring high standards in creating a dynamic retail environment, fostering a culture of innovation and experimentation, and encouraging continuous learning and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
- Developing the team to achieve expert-level solutioning, providing personalized conversations to enhance customers' lifestyles, and delivering end-to-end seamless experiences.
- Building a retail environment with an experiential journey that demonstrates relevant solutions, creating excitement at every engagement by leveraging digital and physical capabilities and customer insights.
- Driving continuous learning through exposure to external partners, solutions providers, and advanced retail technologies to deliver lifestyle solutions beyond traditional telecommunications.
- Being a great ambassador of Maxis with a customer-oriented mindset and a champion of delivering unmatched customer experiences.
What do you need to have for this role?
- Postgraduate Certificate / Diploma (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of total work experience
- Experience in showcasing and conducting demonstrations is preferred
- Tech-savvy and computer literate
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication, written, and interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written English skills
- Customer-obsessed, passionate about sales, hospitality, and interactive conversations
- Mandarin-speaking is an added advantage
- Personal traits: Positive, passionate, collaborative, creative, self-starter, able to perform under pressure, team player, and leadership qualities
- Curious about technology and lifestyle (e.g., music, gaming, travel, wellness)
- No fraud cases or blacklist history
