Position

The Warehouse Operator is responsible for handling various warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods. This role ensures the accuracy of inventory records, maintains warehouse organization, and supports continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Support warehouse operations by performing tasks such as receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
• Follow standard operating procedures for warehouse activities.
• Create and update relevant warehouse data in SAP and other management systems.
• Organize warehouse by selecting suitable bins, boxes, and shelf sizes for goods.
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety compliance in the warehouse.
• Handle shipments, including accurate documentation, to ensure timely and smooth delivery.
• Assist in performing annual physical inventory counts and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Ensure timely availability of packing materials and manage procurement for warehouse supplies.
• Follow safety protocols and proper equipment handling procedures.
• Participate in training sessions on safety, equipment handling, and process updates.
• Assist in evaluating warehouse performance metrics to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with procurement, sales, and logistics teams to align operational goals.
• Assist in managing maintenance schedules for warehouse equipment to minimize downtime.
• Support the execution of emergency response plans for incidents such as fire, flood, or security breaches.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of warehouse management practices.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), SAP, and MS Office applications.
• Familiarity with different kinds of warehouse equipment and technologies.
• English communication skills (speaking, listening, and writing), along with reporting abilities, are a plus.
• Problem-solving skills with a hands-on mentality and attention to detail.
• Certification in warehouse management, logistics, or relevant fields (e.g., CSCP) is a plus.
• Forklift operator certification or familiarity with similar machinery is required.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards, ensuring compliance and best practices.
• Experience analyzing data and generating actionable insights to improve operations.
